Taunton, Hobson set June date

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Taunton and Kim Taunton of Andalusia are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Marilynn Alexandria Taunton, to Norman Hunter Hobson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hobson, of Andalusia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Raymond L. Lord and Marilynn S. Lord, Bill and Annett Watson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt Taunton.

She is a 2004 graduate of Straughn High School and is currently attending Auburn University of Montgomery, where she is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in nursing.

She is employed at Andalusia Regional Hospital.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Hugh Sellers and Maxine Sellers and the late Forest Hobson Jr. and Sara Hobson.

He is a 1997 graduate of Andalusia High School and later Auburn University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in landscape and horticulture, and Jefferson State Mortuary School, where he earned a degree in mortuary science.

He is currently employed at Foreman Funeral Home.

A June 4, 2011, wedding is planned. Invitations will be sent.
