Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Hutto of Opp announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Janet Lindsey, to John Edward Williamson Jr., the son of Lisa Smith and Jon Edward Williamson Sr.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack James and the late Winfred Hutto and Mabel and Frank Bowen, all of Opp.

She is currently a student at the University of South Alabama in Mobile where she is pursuing a degree in occupational therapy.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Dorcas Williamson and the late Johnny Williamson and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Smith, all of Andalusia.

He is a 2010 graduate of Lurleen B. Wallace Community College and is currently employed with Uni-First in Mobile.

The wedding will take place on Sat., May 21, 2011, at 4 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Opp. A reception will follow in the fellowship center. All friends and family are invited to attend.
