JANNIE J. JONES

Jannie J. Jones, the compassionate and loving wife of Superintendent Coleman Jones, went home to be with the Lord on Mon., May 3, 2011, at Andalusia Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Sat., May 7, at the Andalusia First Baptist Church. Vistiation will be tonight from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Marshall Hammond Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted husband of 45 years, Coleman Douglas Jones; loving children, Sherrie Cassandra Jones of Andalusia, Ellen Jenkins of Jonesboro, Ga., and Charlie (Terri) Jenkins of Montgomery.

VIRGIL J. CAMPBELL

Virgil J. Campbell, 86, of Andalusia, died Tues., May 3, 2011, in the Bay Minette Hospital.

Graveside services were held Thurs., May 5, at the Magnolia Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing. The family will meet with friends at the cemetery.

Survivors include his stepchildren, James Edward Ballard of Andalusia, Allen Wayne Ballard of Florala, Cynthia Harper and Harrison Henry Hayes, both of Andalusia; four grandchildren; and a stepsister, Carolyn Warren.

WILLIE ‘GERALD’ HUDSON

Willie “Gerald” Hudson, 58, a resident of Greenville, died on Thurs., April 28, 2011, in a Montgomery hospital.

Mr. Hudson was a retired lieutenant with the Andalusia Fire Depart-ment.

A memorial service will be held Sat., May 7, at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Greenville with the Rev. Robert Cruikshank and the Dean Moore officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah C. Hudson, of Greenville; two sons, Timothy Gerald Hudson (Candace) and Wayne Durell (Michelle) Hudson, both of Andalusia; and seven grandchildren.

The family requests that memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church in Greenville’s building fund or the American Cancer Society.
