Local youngsters join Andalusia native Rochelle Harper and her band on stage at a concert that followed Saturday’s Three Notch Market. Harper, who lives in Bay St. Louis, Miss., entertained with a range that included the music of Janis Joplin, Patsy Cline, and Ray Charles, as well as blues classics and some of her original work. Her band includes her husband on lead guitar, right.
The grounds of Springdale were a perfect backdrop for this year’s Andalusia Junior Woman’s Club Three Notch Market Saturday. With the weather cooperating, arts and crafts vendors reported a steady crowd and good sales. Wares varied from pottery to photography to folk art.
The day ended with a two-hour concert by the Rochelle Harper Band sponsored by the City of Andalusia.
