Wendy and James O’Rafferty of Kentucky and Paul and Lorri Kelly of Michigan are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Mapes, to Walter Palmer, son of Doug and Mary Palmer of Andalusia.

The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Brenda and Charles Bishop of Tennessee. Her paternal grandparents are Charlotte and Dick Reynolds and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kelly, all of Michigan.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Paris Jr. College in Texas and is currently employed as a certified jeweler with Sanders Jewelry in Andalusia.

The prospective groom is the maternal grandson of Gloria Palmer of Andalusia. His paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Doxey of Louisana. He is employed with Palmer and Sons Body Shop in Andalusia.

The wedding is planned for today, Sat., May 14, 2011, at 5:30 p.m. at 21671 Hwy. 55, Andalusia.
