ADDIE DYE

Addie Dye, 78, of Andalusia, died Fri., May 13, 2011, in a Crestview, Fla., nursing home.

Funeral services were held on Mon., May 16, at 2 p.m. from the Antioch Congregational Church with the Rev. Derwood Cleland and the Rev. Benji Jordan officiating.

Interment followed in the church cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her son, Mark Dye of Andalusia; six grandchildren, Derek Dye, Michael Hobbs, Lauren Hobbs, Amy Cowan, Matthew Stokes and Andrew Stokes; two great-grandchildren, Will Cowan and Courtney Cowan; one sister, Jean Gola of Prattville; and one brother, Tom Galloway of Montgomery.

Pallbearers were Matthew Stokes, Andrew Stokes, Terry Neal, Scott Dye, Daniel Cowan, and Benji Jordan.

BARBARA FOSHEE HARRELL

Barbara Foshee Harrell, 59, a resident of Montgomery, passed away on Fri., May 13, 2011. Funeral services were held on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 11 a.m. at White Chapel Funeral Home with Daniel Foshee officiating. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death by her mother, Zelda Glenn. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 30 years, Danny Harrell; children, Kristy Scharenbroch (Tony), Melissa Ryan, Chad Harrell, Chris Harrell; father, Wheeler Foshee and stepfather, Pete Glenn; sister, Angie Foshee; brothers, Scotty Glenn, Wheeler Foshee Jr. and Daniel Foshee; and six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Harrell Family in memory of Barbara Harrell.

White Chapel Funeral Home directed.

THOMAS THOMPSON JR.

Thomas Thompson Jr., 26, of Indiana and Red Level passed away Sun., May 15, in Oklahoma in a one-vehicle accident. Thomas was an Army veteran who served in Iraq. Recently he was working as a first-responder in Chattanooga, Tenn., as an apprentice lineman.

He will be missed by father and stepmother, Thomas and Lori Thompson of Red Level; mother, Roberta Lowder of Indiana; sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Tim Reider, and niece, Brianna Reider, all of Indiana; grandmothers, Catherine Thompson of Andalusia and Patty Lowder of Indiana; step-grandmother, Katherine Lowder of Indiana; uncles, Col. Robert Thompson of Virginia, Ted Thompson of Florida, Greg Lowder, Mike Lowder and Matt Lowder, all of Indiana; aunt, Connie Hickman of Indiana and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends and co-workers.
