A poker run and classic car show are planned this Sat., May 21, to benefit Covington County’s Imagination Library.

The event is planned for the parking lot of Marvin’s/Tractor Supply, with registration beginning at 9:30 a.m. Participation is $10 for bikes/cars and $5 for extra hands.

Ronnie Kilgore an Angie Oglethorpe are organizing the event, and Hilltop is providing food to be sold there.

Imagination Library is a children’s literacy program that provides a new book to children born in Covington County each month from birth to age 5. By the time the child enters kindergarten, he or she will have a library of 60 books.

Imagination Library is an international organization founded by Dolly Parton.
