It’s time for fresh produce of all sorts, and Crossover Ministry Produce has a wide variety from which to choose, including okra, squash, corn, tomatoes, onion, pepper, watermelon, cantaloupe and potatoes. The nine-acre produce garden is located on highway 84 between Opp and Andalusia. The farm is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon. The farm operates year-round, growing vegetables for those participating in the program and the excess produce is sold fresh at the farm to help defray the costs of the operation. All produce is $1 per pound, except onions, which are 50 cents per pound.
