DTF busts pair for pill, meth trading

Two women were arrested Friday after confessing they planned to trade psuedoephedrine pills for finished meth.
DTF commander Mark Odom said after agents received informat-ion about possible drug activity, they located Dwan Chris-tine Tay-lor, 30, of Anda-lusia, and Ashl-ey Nic-hole Ains-worth, 19, of Gantt, and placed them under arrest for second-degree manufacturing a controlled substance.
Odom said agents Roger Cender and Greg Jackson learned that both Ainsworth and Taylor had purchased psuedoephedrine for the purpose of trading the pills for finished product methamphetamine.
Once agents Cender and Jackson made contact with the pair, they confirmed this information and arrested both.
The women both booked into the Covington County Jail and held under a $200,000 bond.
