ROBERT SHAUN LYNCH

Robert Shaun Lynch, 30, of Clanton, formerly of Loango/River Falls, died Wed., June 8, 2011, at Chilton Medical Center, Clanton.

He was born on Tues., Nov. 25, 1980, in Mont-gomery, the son of Kenneth Lynch and Sondra Maddox.

He was a purchasing agent.

Funeral service will be held today, Sat., June 11, at 3 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Clanton with the Rev. Matt DeBord officiating, and interment following in the Martin Memorial Cemetery with Martin Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be held in the chapel one hour prior to the service.

Surviving are his daughter, Hannah Lynch of Clanton; parents, David and Sondra Maddox and Kenneth and LeCeilia Lynch of River Falls; sister, Haley Maddox; brother, D.J. Maddox, both of Clanton; stepsister, Destiny Smith of Andalusia; grandfather, Wayne Sowell of Andalusia; grandparents, Robert and Joyce Lynch of River Falls and Truett and Jean Maddox of Clanton; and grandmother, Sara Barganier of River Falls.

He was preceded in death by his nana, Annette Sowell.

ZELMA EARL SPICER

Zelma Earl Spicer, 93, of Andalusia, went home to glory on Monday evening, June 6, 2011. She was being cared for in the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Mickey Johnson of Dothan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest C. Spicer. The couple owned and operated Spicer Cleaners from the mid 1940s until their retirement in the early 1970s. They had built their retirement home on Spicer farmland in the Heath community.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kay (Mickey) Johnson of Dothan and Ernestine Cosby of Andalusia; granddaughters, Lynn (William) Wardlaw of Atlanta, Jennifer Kotouch of Dothan, Lisa (Mark) Hicks of Granada, Miss., and Kristie (Randy) Parker of The Woodlands, Texas; seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

There will be a private graveside service for family members at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

A public memorial service celebrating her life will be held in the chapel of Foreman Funeral Home today, Sat., June 11, at 10 a.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. David Temples of Westwood Presbyterian Church of Dothan.

Pallbearers are Mickey Johnson, William Wardlaw, Mark Hicks, Randy Parker, Chris Sasser and Taylor Hicks. Special honorary pallbearer will be Carson Parker.

Memorial donations may be sent to the Methodist’s Children’s Home, through the office of First Methodist Church or to Covenant Hospice in Dothan.

ANNIE CLYDE BREWER ADAMS

Annie Clyde Brewer Adams, 93, of the Antioch Community, died Thurs., June 9, 2011, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Sun., June 12, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery.

Visitation will be held tonight from 6-8.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Grady B. Adams Jr.; her parents, two brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Grady Bennie (Sarah) Adams III and Thomas Ray Adams of Deatsville; one sister, Jane Brewer Beckman of Pensacola, Fla.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; and her caregiver, Mary Ann Jones.
