Three Baker, Fla., sisters are dead and their grandmother in critical condition following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Wing.
The accident occurred at approximately 6:50 p.m. at the intersection of Cty. Rd. 4 and Ala. Hwy. 137.
The victims were identified as 8-year-old twin sisters, Danielle Pippins and Janniell Pippins and Savannah Furr, 11, said Alabama State Trooper Kevin Cook.
The girls were riding in a 1993 Ford Tempo, driven by 45-year-old Dianne Poire of Sarasota, Fla., when the vehicle was struck by a 2010 Toyota Corolla, driven by 18-year-old Christine Harris of Birmingham.
Poire was transported to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Fla., where she is listed in critical condition.
