Betty Evans Gross, 73, of Opp, passed away Wed., June 15, 2011, in Opp hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Sat., June 18, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Survivors include five sons, David Kenneth Beck, Robert Dewayne Beck, Ronald Beck, Bill Beck and Terry Beck; brother, W.L. Evans Jr.; sisters, Gloria Brantley and Ruby Stone; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gwen Dampier; father, William Laney Evans Sr.; mother, Ruth M. Silas Evans; and brother, John Bennett Evans.

Mary Clyde Hays, 61, of Andalusia, passed away Wed., June 15, 2011, at her residence.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Hays; daughters, Sonya Dulaney of Ft. Walton, Fla., and Brandy Bonner of Andalusia; brothers, Johnny Ables of Milton, Fla., and Pete Hester; sister, Pat Hester, both of Pensacola, Fla.; and grandchildren, Michael Jordon, Charlie Jordon, Britlyn Dulaney and Dalton Reynolds.
