LILLIAN MATTHEWS
Lillian Mathews, 76, of Andalusia, died Sat., June 18, 2011, at the Andalusia Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Mon., June 20, at the Rose Hill Church of Christ with Brother C. H. McCrory officiating, and burial following in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her brother, Hilary H. Mathews of Rose Hill; sister-in-law, Hannah Lora Mathews of Andalusia, and several nieces and nephews.

SHELBY STEPHENS PARR FERGUSON
Shelby Stephens Parr Ferguson, 70, of Andalusia, died Thurs., June 16, 2011, at her residence.
Funeral services were held on Sun., June 19, 2011, at 2 p.m., from the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frankie McVay officiating. Interment followed in the Adellum Cemetery.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kennis and Michelle; two grandchildren, Marshal Parr and Whitney Parr, all of Cottonwood; and two brothers, Wayne Stephens of Andalusia and Bill Stephens of Dothan.

JAMES CHARLES O’NEAL
James Charles O’Neal, 86, of Andalusia, died Fri., June 17, 2011, in a local hospital.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Mon., June 20, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Karthaus, the Rev. Harold Cushing and the Rev. Jim O’Neal officiating.
He was preceded in death by parents, Sim and Bessie O’Neal; brothers, Bill O’Neal, Norman O’Neal and Paul O’Neal; and sisters, Margie Austin, Rachel Peacock and Elizabeth Tillery.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn B. O’Neal of Andalusia; daughter, Anne O’Neal White and husband James O. White of Olympia, Wa.; son, James C. O’Neal, Jr. and his wife Karen C. O’Neal of Chatom; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Christopher) Barr, Megan (Corey) Baydo, Margaret (Sean) Phillips, Christopher (Amanda) White, Jennifer (Dan) Keeffe, Sara (Jamie) Foster, Erin (Donnie) Moss and Rebecca O’Neal; and sister, Marie (Bart) Gowan of River Falls.
In addition to flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were Roy Weaver, Gillis Jones, Jimmy Eiland, Ziba Anderson, Kim Dyess and Neal Dansby.
Honorary pallbearers were Bud Parker, Al Earnest, Lee Kirkland and the Baraca Class of First Baptist Church.
