The City of Opp will hold its annual Independence Day celebration on July from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Families who wish to participate will receive free admission to Frank Jackson State Park after noon. Free hot dogs, drinks and watermelons will be available from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Those who wish to be seated should bring their lawn chairs.

Golf car shuttles will be available for those needing assistance.

Absolutely not alcoholic beverages allowed.
