The Andalusia Police Department is investigating criminal mischief at the Covington Mall that occurred Wednesday night.

Investigator Cody Warren said officers responded to an alarm at the mall and found that someone had broken into the back door. After entering the facility, they broke interior plate glass windows.

The perpetrators had apparently been scared away by alarms by the time police arrived.
