E. GARNER WIGGINS
E. Garner Wiggins, 78, a native of Covington County, died Fri., July 15, 2011, in a Mt. Pleasant, S.C., hospice.
Funeral services will be held on Sun., July 17, at Stuhr Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
He was a graduate of Straughn High School and the University of South Carolina. He worked as a C.P.A. for the state of South Carolina for many years before starting his own accounting firm in Charleston, S.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Thelma Glisson Wiggins, and brothers, Horace and Donald Wiggins.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Brewer Wiggins; son, Michael Garner Wiggins; daughter; Beverly Wiggins (Stewart) Pearce; seven grandchildren, all of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; and sisters, Wilma Short (Morgan) Moore of Andalusia and Margie Wiggins DeBray of Troy.

Robert Harrison, 85, of Brewton, formerly of Andalusia, died Thurs., July 14, 2011, at his home in Brewton.
Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced later by Keahey Funeral Home.
JULIA VONCILE PATTERSON
Julia Voncile Patterson, 76, of Red Level, died Wed., July 13, 2011, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., today, Sat., July 16, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. P. J. McClung and the Rev. Dennis Knowles officiating. Interment will follow at Vera Cruz Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Patterson of Red Level; son and daughter-in-law, Johny and Sandra Odom of Red Level; daughters and son-in-law, Shela Padgett of Andalusia and Shirley and David Hartin of Glennwood; six grandchildren, Lt. Col. Jimmy Mott, David Hartin II, Rory Odom, Jenny Odom, Candace Atkins and Morgan Odom; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Samuel (Barbara) Colvin of Everett, Wash., and Ray (Patsy) Colvin of Red Level.
Pallbearers will be Bernie Bracewell, Jeff Bracewell, Jeff Cross, James Knowles, Ray Huckabaa, Steve Dowdy and Tommy Myrick.
