RONALD HENDERSON

Ronald Henderson, 61, of Andalusia’s Cedar Grove Community, passed away Mon., July 25, 2011, in a Dothan hospital.

Funeral arrangements will be held at 11 am., today, Wed., July 27, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Ganus, the Rev. Monroe Sasser and the Rev. Jerry Elmore officiating. The eulogy will be given by Shannon Driver. Burial will follow in Stone Lake Gardens Cemetery with military honors.

Survivors include his special friend, Janie Adams; two brothers, Junior Henderson of Andalusia and Hinton Henderson of Vance; and four sisters, Stella Henderson of Opp, Aubrene (the Rev. Ed) Ganus, Maxine Peek, all of Andalusia, and Lanette (Bill) Ward of Deatsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Pearl Henderson, and his brother, G.D. Henderson.

Serving as pallbearers will be Andy Umbarger, Kip Russell, Steve Graves, Mitch Blair, Jarred Davis, John Evers and Harold Dubose.

O’NEAL CREECH

O’Neal Creech, 79, of Red Level, passed away Mon., July 25, 2011, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Fri., July 29, at the Hopewell Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Wilkinson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Creech of Red Level; his sons, Curtis O’Neal Creech and Michael Tracy Creech, both of Red Level; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Dave Sargent of Orlando, Fla.; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Catherine Spicer of Orlando, Fla., Linda Peavey, Barbara and Cecil Sanders, all of Samson, and Dianne and Dennis Allen of Daingerfield, Texas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ewell and Carol Creech of Groveland, Fla., Max Rae Creech of Red Level, Roland and Jane Creech of Enterprise, Jerry and Lila Creech of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Ted and Barbara Creech of Arab and Larry and Vickie Creech of Orlando, Fla.; several grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, A.D. and Mildred Creech and sister, Melba Lolley.

LINDA WATSON PALMER

Linda Watson Palmer, 62, of Andalusia, died Sat., July 23, 2011, at her residence. Funeral services were held Tues., July 26, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral home with the Rev. Earl Kelley officiating. Interment followed at Bethel Cemetery.

She is survived by three sons, Edwin (Peggy Lee) Watson of Enterprise, Melvin Lee of Sylvester, Ga., and Robert Lee of Kokomo, Ind.; two daughters, Barbara Ford of Kentucky and Candice Mount of Jacksonville, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Karen (Buddy) Haney of Kinston and Lanette (Lonnie) Smith of Andalusia; and brothers, Ricky Watson and Terry Watson, both of Andalusia.
