The City of Andalusia, Andalusia EMS, and LBW Community College are offering a free CPR course on Fri., Aug. 19, from 8 a.m. until noon.

The course, updated to reflect new science in the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR & ECC, teaches adult hands-only CPR, adult AED use, child CPR and AED use, infant CPR and how to relieve choking in an adult, child or infant.

The class will be taught at the Andalusia Police Department Training Center located on Academy Drive.
