Edie Alexander, Sarah Atkins, Curtis SImpson, Susan Taylor, Bren Sharpe and Olivia Lane Wise told the story of early pioneers.
Among the many events surrounding the Babe Ruth 12U World Series was a welcome to the visiting teams at Springdale on Thursday morning.
A host of volunteers and helped with the tour, that featured a brief history of the area complete with children in period costume staged by Covington Historical Society president Sue Bass Wilson.
