Arrested and booked into the Covington County Jail by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office – including the Florala, Lockhart, Red Level, Opp, Gantt and River Falls Police Departments

August 11, 2011:

• Carlton Brooks, 19, on charges of capital murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle and held without bond.

• Marliene Mathews, 26, for violation of probation and held without bond.

• Derek A. Earley, 27, for domestic violence/harassment and held on a $3,000 bond.

• Zachary Kennam, 30, for third-degree burglary, third-degree theft of property and reckless endangerment and held on a $16,000 bond.
