Andalusia’s Winn-Dixie is safe from a round of recalls which included ground beef products, diced bacon products and various layered dip products containing guacamole, officials said Monday.

On Monday afternoon the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries issued a release warning Alabamians of the potential health hazards after these products were sold in Publix and Winn-Dixie grocery stores in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee.

The National Beef Packing Co., issued a voluntary recall on ground beef products produced at its Dodge City, Kan., production facility that may have been contaminated with E. coli, which can cause humans to become sick.
