Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Hinote of Defuniak Springs, Fla., are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Holli June Hinote, to William Griffith Johnson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Johnson Sr. of Andalusia.

The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Mrs. Juanita Saunders and the late Mr. Roger Saunders of Westville, Fla., and the paternal granddaughter of Mr. Herbert Hinote and the late Mrs. Wilma Joan Hinote of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.

She earned a bachelor of science degree in biomedical sciences from Auburn University and a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of South Alabama. She is employed at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery.

The prospective groom is the maternal grandson of Mrs. Marilyn Margaret Griffith and the late Mr. John William Griffith Sr. of Bellamy, Ala., and the paternal grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gravlee Johnson of Aliceville.

He earned a bachelor of wildlife science degree and a bachelor of forestry degree from Auburn University. He is employed with the State of Alabama Wildlife Sciences.

The couple will exchange vows on Sat., Oct. 8, 2011, on Lake Martin.
