Burglars strike again

Burglars struck again Monday night – this time, in the area around Andalusia High School.

Lt. Paul Dean of the Andalusia Police Department said items were taken from three vehicles after the owners left the doors unlocked.

Dean reminded residents the importance of removing valuable items from the inside of vehicles, as well as keeping the doors locked.

Last week, two men were arrested after they allegedly burglarized six vehicles in the country club area and stole cash, computer equipment, a child’s backpack and other valuables.
