Though Hurricane Irene will bypass the Gulf Coast, forecasters are carefully watching two other storm systems off the coast of Africa.

One has a 10 percent chance of developing, while the second has a 60 percent chance of developing within the next 48 hours.

Forecast models rule out one making U.S. landfall, but there is a possibility for the second.
