Problems with local AT&T cell service should be over, corporate officials said Thursday.

Customers began logging complaints of poor reception and dropped calls Wednesday.

AT&T public relations manager Sue Sperry said those issues were the result of problems with two local towers.

“One of them is fixed and going great guns again,” he said. “The other is still having some connectivity issues that should be corrected (Thursday), as the site that was repaired is now carrying more traffic.”

“We apologize for the inconvenience,” Sperry said.
