Mr. and Mrs. DeWayne Robinson would like to announce the engagement of their daughter Ms. Taylor Marie Robinson to Mr. Mathew Cory Carter. The couple is to be married on Sept. 24, 2011, at 5 in the evening at Kirkpatrick Park in Andalusia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Vernell Berry and the late Barbara Berry of Red Level, Gerald and Dean Robinson of Foley and May Bell Williams of Andalusia. She is a 2011 graduate of Red Level High School, and plans to continue her education at LBW Community College to pursue a career in elementary education.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Carter of Brundidge. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Carter of Jack and Ms. Ruby Lois Ellis of Brundidge.

He is a graduate of Zion Chapel High School in Elba and the Alabama Aviation Center in Ozark.
