Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies raided an electronic bingo facility Tuesday afternoon.

The Lucky Duck Bingo in the Midfield Plaza Shopping Center closed more than a week ago after a warning from the sheriff’s office, but recently reopened.

The Midfield City Council voted earlier this month to allow the hall to open after it paid the city a $15,000 license fee.

Midfield is one of several Jefferson County cities that allow electronic bingo, arguing that a state constitutional amendment gives cities the ability to establish rules for electronic bingo.
