The Covington County man who was airlifted to a Montgomery hospital after a wreck Aug. 30, has died.

Ira Richard Dennis, 31, died Thurs., Sept. 8, from injuries sustained in the automobile wreck at the intersection of Antioch Road and Good News Chapel Road.

He was a passenger in a 1999 Dodge driven by 40-year-old Jennifer Laura Green, and was airlifted to Baptist Medical Center in Montgomery after being pinned under the truck.

Funeral arrangements for Dennis are incomplete and will be announced by Keahey Funeral Home.
