Area first responders, including firefighters, police officers and deputies, will be honored at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church Sunday morning.

Rector Cindy Howard said the service, which begins at 9:15 a.m., will be focused on remembering Sept. 11, and offering prayers of peace.

First responders are invited to lunch following the service, in appreciation for all they do in our community.
