The Brooklyn Community’s Post Office will close its doors in November, officials said Monday.
Spokesperson Debra Fetterly announced eight post offices, including Brooklyn will close Nov. 19.
Postal officials cited previously revenue declines due to growing technology associated with conducting postal business online as the reasoning behind the closure.
The Post Office in Wing was place on a watch-list in July and is currently being studied for possible closure.
In July, a meeting was held concerning the potential closure of Gantt, but it has not been placed on a list as of yet.
