Arrested and booked into the Covington County Jail by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office – including the Florala, Lockhart, Red Level, Opp and River Falls Police Departments on Oct. 3, 2011:

• John Daniels, 44, for failure to appear and held without bond.

• Jeremy Ferrell, 23, for violation of probation and held without bond.

• Michael E. Bowers, 42, for driving while under the influence and second-degree manufacturing and held on a $207,500 bond.

• Ronnie Joe Presley, 40, for criminal littering, public intoxication and second-degree manufacturing and held on a $201,000 bond.

• Tyrone Collins, 50, for public intoxication and held on a $500 bond.

• John McCarthey, 44, for failure to appear and held without bond.

• Phillip Watson, 65, for negotiating a worthless instrument and held on a $3,000 bond.

Editor’s note: It was reported in the Tues., Oct. 4, edition that Christopher Hall was arrested for fraudulent use of a credit card. This is not the Christopher Hall that is employed with the City of Andalusia. The Star-News is happy to clarify this for our readers.
