WILLIAM ERVING ‘BILL’ BROCK

William Erving “Bill” Brock, 78, of Andalusia, died Thurs., Oct. 6, 2011, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Sun., Oct. 9, at the Hopewell Christian Advent Church in Leesburg with the Rev. Brent Leach, the Rev. Bo Mackie and the Rev. Jamie Mackey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to services.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Brock of Andalusia; his children, Patricia Leach of Taylor, Mich., Dale Brock of Rose Hill, Brian Brock of Center, Dewayne Robinson of Andalusia, Babbie Lance of Arab, Beth Mackey of Andalusia, Beverly Mullens of Camden, Tenn., Benita Chandler of Center, Draper Holcomb of Andalusia and Darren Holcomb of Helena; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jerry Brock of Center.
