MARGARET GOODSON PARKER

Margaret Goodson Parker, 79, of North Augusta, S.C., formerly of Opp, died Sat., Oct. 8, 2011, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Sat., Oct. 15, from Wyatt Funeral Home with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

She is survived by her husband, Randolph Kinsey Parker of North Augusta, S.C.; sons and daughters-in-law, James Randall and Nancy Parker and Kenneth Wayne and Joan Parker all of North Augusta, S.C.; sisters, Ruth Holmes and Shirley Holmes; grandchildren, Heather P. Gates, Evan Parker and Ryan Parker; and friend, Laurie Holland.

She was preceded in death by her father, John William Goodson; mother, Minnie Norsworthy; and brothers, Ralph Goodson and Roy Goodson.

STEVE ISHMON ODOM

Steve Ishmon Odom, 79, of Andalusia, died Wed., Oct. 12, 2011, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Sat., Oct. 15, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Elmore officiating and burial following in Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Foreman Funeral Home.

Survivors include his brothers and sisters-in-law, Floyd and Mary Ann Odom and John and Marilyn Odom; sister and brother-in-law, Ellie Gray and Glenn Henley, all of Andalusia; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jason Henley, Mark Odom, Chris Odom, Gary Odom, Geoff Odom and John Clark III.

Dollie M. Daughtry, 73, of Andalusia, died Wed., Oct. 12, 2011, in the Andalusia Manor.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Fri., Oct. 14, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. tonight at Foreman Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and David Patrick of Eufaula, Margaret and Pete Dewrell of Andalusia, Shirley and David Dewrell of Brantley, Jean McClellan of Andalusia and Debbie Sutton of Eufaula; sons, Jimmy Cane of Andalusia and Joe Dane of Millbrook; sister, Ester Capps of Autaugaville; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jesse Jackson; brother, Bill Jackson; and sister, Hazel Jackson.

WILLIAM SOLOMON BOGGAN

William Solomon Boggan, 73, of Loango, died Tues., Oct. 11, 2011, in the Andalusia Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., today, Thurs., Oct. 13, at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Loango with the Rev. Dennis Knowles officiating, and burial following in Old Bethesda Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be held at the church 30 minutes prior to services.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Boggan of Loango; his son, Bill Boggan of Montgomery; daughter, Kathy Garner of Auburn; stepson and daughter-in-law, Randy and Sherry Coxwell of Red Level; grandchildren, Ryan, Mandy, Elijah, Randall and Kayla Ann; great grandchildren, Silas, Johnny, Tracey and Makayla; a brother and sister-in-law, John Daniel and Mary Ellen Boggan of Red Level.
