It might not be a “Honky Tonk Bar,” but the Florala amphitheater will work just as nice as a concert setting for songwriter Bryan Kennedy than any other.

Ke-nn-edy, a natio-nally kno-wn songwriter and sin-ger, will perform in a concert tonight from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event will serve as the location’s first public event.

Local attorney and music lover Wesley Laird will open the concert.

There is a $2 admission fee, and concessions are available from the Florala Recreational Board. Proceeds will be donated to local non-profit groups.
