Andalusia moved up to the No. 6 spot in the final Alabama Sports Writers Association poll that was released today.

The Bulldogs beat Opp 21-13 last week to end the regular season 10-0 for the first time since 1977.

Andalusia will play host to Elmore County this Friday in the first round of the Class 4A state playoffs.

Kick off at AHS stadium is 7 p.m.

Deshler moved to the No. 7 spot, Beaureguard is No. 8, Guntersville is No. 9 and Brooks rounds out the top 10 at No. 10.

Jackson, Dadeville, North Jackson, Thomasville and Bibb County are in the top five of Class 4A.
