The Trendy Tulip, Florala’s newest florist, held its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Sat., Oct. 29, at 10 a.m.

The store, which is owned and operated by Sasha Thomas of Paxton, Fla., will also feature unique gift items and is located in the old Dorothy’s House of Flowers building.

Thomas is a third-generation floral designer, following in both her grandmother’s and mother’s footsteps. She is the daughter of Michele and Doug Chandler and Ronnie Center and the granddaughter of Dorothy and Danny Dyess and Genell and George Center.
