Arrested and booked into the Covington County Jail by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office – including the Florala, Lockhart, Red Level, Opp and River Falls Police Departments Nov. 8, 2011:

• Kenry Trishawn Ferrell, 36, for second-degree receiving stolen property and held on a $10,000 bond.

• Corvin Bryant, 49, for parole violation and held without bond;

• Matthew Tracy Buchanan, 27, for contempt of court and held without bond;

• James L. Franklin, 37, for failure to appear and held without bond;

• Raymon T. Hutchinson, 19, for third-degree theft of property and held on a $500 bond;

• Mary Alice Covington, 65, serving weekends;

• Richard Henry Capie, 38, for possession of a controlled substance and held on a $10,000 bond;

• Christopher Nolan O’Neal, 36, for possession of a controlled substance and held on a $10,000 bond;

• Robert Lee Lane, 36, writ of arrest/child support and held without bond;

• Maria Isabel Erazo, 45, for driving under the influence and open container and held on a $1,500 bond.

Clarification: In the Tues., Nov. 8, edition, it was reported that Donald Barton, 63, of Opp, was arrested for negotiating a worthless instrument. This is not the Donald Barton, 64, of Gantt. The Star-News regrets the confusion and is happy to set the record straight for our readers.
