FHS boys, girls lose openers

Florala’s boys and girls varsity basketball teams fell in their season-opener tonight in Samson.

The boys team lost 75-60, and the girls team lost 52-38.

Jonathan Burleson had 17 points, and Joseph McNeil had 14 for Florala.

Mariah Thompson had 17 points and 12 rebounds and Paige Irwin nine points for the Lady Wildcats.
