FLEETER SLANTON

Fleeter Slaton, 102, of Ft Walton Beach, Fla., formerly of Andalusia, died Fri., Nov. 11, 2011, in Ft. Walton.

Funeral services were held Mon., Nov. 14, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home, and interment followed at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Slaton is survived by her daughter, Julia S. Temple of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; three great-great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Spencer of Andalusia.

HILL M. MOCK

Hill M. Mock, 81, of Foley, died Thurs., Nov. 10, 2011.

Mr. Mock was a native and longtime resident of Andalusia, where he retired from the Alabama Electric (now PowerSouth) Cooperative. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of Gulf Shores United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Shirley M. Mock of Foley; a son, William Anderson “Andy” Mock of Houston; and a nephew, Bob Mock of Madison, Texas.

Memorial services were held on Sun., Nov. 13, at the Gulf Shores United Methodist Church with the Rev. Glenn Butler officiating.
