The 2011 Alabama Recreation and Parks Association state soccer tournament is this weekend in Dothan.

Four local All-Stars soccer teams will take part in the tournament, which will take place from Nov. 19-20.

Andalusia teams that are participating in the tournament are 9U boys and girls, 11U girls and 15U.

The 9U boys will get under way at 11 a.m. against Athens and then will play Dothan at 2 p.m. on Saturday on the Brewton Field; and the 9U girls will begin at 9 a.m. against Dothan Blue and then will play Prattville at 3 p.m. on Field No. 6. The tournament format for the 9U boys and girls is pool play, which will lead into a championship round to be played on Sunday.

The 11U girls start against Dothan on Saturday at 9 a.m. in a round robin tournament.

The 15U tournament is also in a pool play format, and the Andalusia team will begin at 11 a.m. against Prattville, and then will play Dothan at 2 p.m. at Prim Field on Saturday. Andalusia will then play Opelika at 9 a.m. on Sunday. The championship game is at 2 p.m.
