JOE HELMS

A celebration of Joe Helms’ life will be held on Sat., Nov. 19, 2011, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Jimmy and Kelley Faulkner’s farm near Straughn High School.

Anyone who would like to visit with the Helms family and and their friends to celebrate his life is welcome.

His wife Bobbi; his daughter Tricia; and son Brad, with their families, and his brother Craig and his family, as well as other family members, will welcome Mr. Helms’ friends and share memories.

Dress is casual.

CHAN HO TURMAN WHITEHURST

Chan Ho Turman Whitehurst, 82, passed away Thurs., Nov. 10, 2011, at her daughter’s residence in Montgomery.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sun., Nov 20, at Good News Baptist Chapel with the Rev. Jay Driver officiating.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Marcus Hyles; grandsons, Joshua and Caleb Hyles; and numerous extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good News Baptist Chapel, 29712 Good New Chapel Rd, Dozier, AL 29712.
