As storms made their way through Alabama on Wednesday, the state saw its first sizeable tornado activity since the anomaly of April 27.
Tornado warnings were issued around Covington County and throughout the state, but not in the county.
Covington County was under a tornado watch for a portion of the day.
A storm system carried a possible tornado near downtown Montgomery, and Auburn saw moderate damage.
Forecasters said Alabama has four peak months of tornados in March, April and May and then in November.
