Jacard Townsend led Andalusia with 18 points in his team’s 49-40 win over Monroe County on Tuesday night at AHS.
AHS head basketball coach Richard Robertson said he was pleased with the effort his team game, but they are “making far too many mistakes.”
“We’ve been surviving,” he said. “I’m not satisfied with our free-throw shooting, and shot selection.
“We’re going to keep on working to where it will give us a chance,” he said. “We made them when we had to.”
The Bulldogs were 13-of-24 from the line on Tuesday night.
In B-team action, the Bulldogs pulled out another single-digit win with a 30-24 victory over the Tigers.
