Florala fell to Georgiana 71-48 on Tuesday night at FHS.

The Panthers speed and athleticism were too much for his Wildcats, FHS head basketball coach Daniel Allison said.

“They have a very good team — very fast,” Allison said. “They’re fast in every position. We just couldn’t keep up with them in the first half.”

The Wildcats trailed 45-17 at half time.

John Bess led the Wildcats with 19 points.

“He played really well, and did some good things for us,” Allison said about Bess.

Florala (0-4) will play host to Straughn on Friday night.
