Opp’s annual Downtown Christmas will begin at 5 p.m. Friday.

Local merchants will be open and there will be live music beginning with the Opp High School band at 5 p.m.

Schedule follows:

• Opp Church of Christ at 5:30 p.m.;

• Opp First Methodist Church at 5:45 p.m.;

• Southside Baptist Church Opp at 6 p.m.;

• Babbie Baptist Church at 6:15 p.m.;

• Evangelist Temple at 6:30 p.m.;

• Westview Baptist Church at 6:45 p.m.;

• Ino Baptist Church at 7 p.m.;

• Wesley Laird and Friends at 7:30 p.m.

The event will conclude at 8 p.m., and Santa will be available for pictures on the Danley Plaza.
