Opp’s boys and girls varsity basketball teams took road losses against Elba on Tuesday night.

The varsity boys fell 60-51, and the varsity girls fell 60-57.

In the boys game, OHS led 28-22 at half time and a few turnovers by the Bobcats led to a 21-6 third period by Elba.

Opp’s Dane Buckelew led the Bobcats with 17 points, and Derek Savage chipped in 10 points.

In girls action, the Lady Bobcats led 29-24 at half time over the Lady Tigers.

Opp will play host to Daleville on Thursday night.

The games will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the B-team.
