After defeating Kinston on Tuesday night, the Straughn Lady Tigers improved to 9-0 on the season, and the No. 9 spot in Class 4A in the Alabama Sports Writers Association basketball poll that was released today.

The Lady Tigers will play host to Red Level tonight in regular season action.

On the boys side, Andalusia, also a Class 4A school, dropped out of the top 10 after a loss to Georgiana, who is ranked No. 6 in Class 1A.

The Bulldogs are 8-5 going into Friday night’s contest against Hillcrest-Evergreen.
