Andalusia’s 10-win season, and Straughn’s and Opp’s berths in the state playoffs are but a few of this season’s highlights. The Bulldogs went undefeated for the first time since 1977, the Tigers clinched a spot in the post season with some late-season theatrics and the Bobcats played as a team that sought a spot in the playoffs.

Andalusia and Opp won each of their region titles this season. Opp head coach Jack Whigham, Straughn’s Johnny Owens and Andalusia’s Jacard Townsend highlight the Andalusia Star-News Class 3A-4A All-County Football Team as Coach of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year.
