At Pack-N-Ship on River Falls Street Monday afternoon, it was really beginning to look like Christmas.

Already, there were two stacks of packages to be picked up that reached the ceiling of the business, and there were several hours left before closing time.

“It really started to pick up last Wednesday and Thursday,” owner Sheila Caylor said. “Today is the busiest yet. I don’t know if this is it, or this is what the rest of the week will be like.”

For procrastinators, shipping is slightly easier because Christmas falls on a Sunday.

“The carriers will delivery on Saturday, so you can ship as late as Friday and be guaranteed overnight delivery,” she said.”
