Janie Ladner Barnett

Mrs. Janie Ladner Barnett, age 61, of Andalusia died Wed., Dec. 21, 2011, in a Dothan hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Mon., Dec. 26, 2011, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Breedlove officiating. Interment will follow at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Barnett is survived by her parents, Chester T. and Geraldine Ladner of Andalusia; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert T. and Beverly Ladner of Crestview, Fla.,; one niece, one nephew, one great-niece, and two great-nephews.

Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Monday at Foreman’s

 

Dorothy Ann (Miss Dot) Atchison

Mrs. Dorothy Ann (Miss Dot) Atchison, age 68, of Chestnut St., Andalusia, died Thurs., Dec. 22, 2011, in an Evergreen nursing facility. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. today, Sat., Dec. 24, 2011, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Griffin and the Rev. Andy Peavy officiating. Interment will follow at Adellum Cemetery.

Mrs. Atchison was preceded in death by daughter, Brenda Sue Anderson.

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, visits, and gifts of food. Mrs. Atchison is survived by three daughters, Debbie (Darrel) Pemberton of Evergreen, Teresa (Bobby) Steele of Red Level, and Susan (David) Brooks of Troy; three sons, Ronald Anderson of Andalusia, Leroy Denny of Jasper, Ala., and Darrell (Melinda) Denny of Andalusia; mother, Dedie Davis of Evergreen; eight grandsons, eight granddaughters, two great-granddaughters, one great-grandson, three sisters, Juanita Parker of Holly Hill, S.C., Alma Agner of Pinetta, Fla., and Nonia Campbell of Milledgeville, Ga., one brother, David Hammond of Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Nolan Denny, Ronnie Anderson, Savage Hollaway, Cayman Steele, Dewayne Ammons, Hunter Pemberton, Jonathan Hicks and Adam Byrd.
